THE FINALE PART 2: MARCH 12
Picking up right where part one left off, Colton knocks on Cassie's hotel room door. She opens it and is in shock to see Colton standing there. The two began to talk and Colton revealed that he broke up with Tayshia and Hannah G. in order to continue his relationship with Cassie. Cassie is of course shocked, as I would be too, and Colton just keeps explaining himself while Cassie processes everything. Colton asks her if she wants to take their relationship day by day and figure out where they stand. Cassie thinks the whole situation is crazy and finally realizes how much Colton actually meant what he said when she broke up with him. Cassie tells Colton that the reason she broke up with him was because she felt as if the other relationships were ahead of hers and she wanted Colton to get what he came for (an engagement) and she didn't know if she was ready for an engagement, therefore leaving the show. Colton tells her that that is all part of the compromise he is willing to make because that's what you do when you love someone. I'm now crying actual tears as I sit here and watch this unfold. Colton then tells Cassie that he loves her and they decide to give their relationship another shot and see where it takes them.
Colton then takes Cassie to meet his family and they are still unsure of the whole situation and worried that Cassie will end up leaving him brokenhearted again. Both Cassie and Colton assure his family that they wouldn't be trying to make it work if they didn't see something coming out of it.
Aaaaaand for the most anticipated date- the fantasy suite. Colton and Cassie begin their date by having a picnic by the sea and repel down the mountain to get to it. After much conversation, they decide that they do in fact want to continue their relationship and go to the fantasy suite.
Cassie and Colton are still dating! Colton moved to LA to be closer to Cassie and they are looking forward to continuing their relationship and falling more in love. Cassie's dad approves of Colton now and he has spent much time with her family. I'm so happy for them and even though this finale was like nothing we've ever seen, I LOVE them together and want to cry just looking at them.

THE FINALE PART 1: MARCH 11
As the crew searches for Colton on the other side of the fence, they eventually find him miles down the road wanting to quit the show. After having a heart-to-heart with Chris Harrison, Colton reveals that he was falling in love with Hannah G. and Tayshia but fell in love with Cassie, closing his heart off to all other love. Colton ultimately decides to continue the show out of respect for the two ladies that are left. He then goes to Tayshia's room and explains his feelings towards Cassie, breaking up with Tayshia and sending her home the day after their fantasy suite date. Tayshia handled the break-up like a champ and if she isn't the bachelorette then who will be??? After breaking up with Tayshia, Colton goes to Hannah G.'s room the night before their fantasy suite date. He again tells her how he's feeling and breaks up with Hannah G., too!!!! So now Colton is left with NOBODY! Hannah G. is a wreck and doesn't understand why Colton would break up with her, especially since they grew such a deep connection. Now Colton is left with two options- end the show alone of fight for Cassie. And he decided to fight for Cassie!! Colton goes back to Cassie's room before she heads back home and of course the episode ends with him knocking on her door :/

EPISODE NINE: MARCH 4
It's that time of year! Fantasy suites!!! And he might be jumping the fence this week?? Wow, so much to look forward to!
Colton and the remaining three ladies head to Algarve, Portugal! Tayshia's date is first and Colton takers her on a private helicopter ride. Catch me booking a flight to Portugal because it is soooooo pretty!!!!! They have a picnic on top of the world (or so it seems) and then head over to dinner and the fantasy suite. During dinner they talk about what is going to happen in the fantasy suite, which leads Tayshia to open up about how her ex-husband cheated on her with another woman. Hopefully Colton won't do anything stupid in the fantasy suite because there's still two other ladies left....So they head to the fantasy suite anddddd we'll see what happens.
The next morning Colton and Tayshia wake up in bed together and we learn that Colton is still a virgin!! GO COLTON! But Colton looks a bit uneasy talking to Tayshia so something must be on his mind.
Cassie's date is next. Colton picks her up and they explore the city- sounds like a good time to me! No it really does, not in a sarcastic way. Has anyone else noticed that they always just show Colton and Cassie kissing on their dates?? It kinda gets old. It's so obvious that Colton is falling for Cassie so I wish they showed more of their actual date. Anyways! Colton tells the camera that he loves Cassie sooooo that's huge news!! Cassie says that she can see a future with Colton but she needs more time, so that might be a red flag in the upcoming episodes. Colton tells Cassie that he loves her family and can see himself fitting right in but he is still waiting for Cassie to say that she's falling in love. Cassie also learns that her dad didn't give Colton his blessing to get engaged (if it comes to that) and that really throws her for a loop. Colton says that that occurrence won't change how he feels for Cassie but Cassie might start to question things now. THEN Cassie's dad shows up!! Whattttt!??! He wants to make sure Cassie is looking at everything with two eyes open so she doesn't commit to something that could fail, which is understandable. In the end Cassie just wants more time but who wouldn't?! Props to Cassie's dad because he is the most realistic person to have ever come on this show.
That night, Cassie decides to send herself home. And now my heart is breaking because Colton loves Cassie and poor Cassie just needs more time:( Cassie walks out of the room confused more than ever and it is clear that Colton is upset. Colton and Cassie then sit down and talk about what the heck just happened. Colton tells Cassie that all he does is think about her and he is okay with being patient and does not want to walk away from the relationship. He says that it's okay for their relationship to move slower and that they don't have to be engaged by the end of this and then proceeds to tell Cassie that he loves her and wants to be with her at the end of this, engaged or not. So now Colton's crying, Cassie's crying, and I'M crying!! Am I watching a romance movie or a reality show?? Colton says that he doesn't care if Cassie leaves because he will continue fighting for her and will give her her space or whatever she needs for their relationship to work. Cassie ultimately decides to leave AND THEN COLTON JUMPS THE FENCE!!!

EPISODE EIGHT: FEBRUARY 25
Hometowns are FINALLY here! This season has gone by so fast, but I'm so ready to see who Colton picks!
Colton's first date is with Caelynn in Virginia. A horse and carriage picks them up for a ride around town before heading out for more adventures. They get ice cream and then go on a nature walk (or just sit in nature I guess) as Caelynn tells Colton who he will meet in her family. When they arrive at her parents' house, it looks as if Caelynn's wholeee family is there so the more the merrier! But Caelynn's step-father, John, is a little uncertain about the whole situation. Caelynn's sister, Ariana, is the first to steal her and chat about her interest in Colton, but Ariana is still skeptical of the whole situation. Meanwhile, Colton speaks with Caelynn's mom and tells her that he is falling in love with Caelynn and reveals his feelings but her mom is also having a hard time wrapping her head around the situation. Caelynn then talks with John and he says that Caelynn and Colton could just be friends because it sounds more like a friendly relationship then a romantic relationship. John grabs Colton and Colton asks is he can marry Caelynn if/when the time comes and John says yes. Caelynn and Colton end the night by watching home videos of Caelynn and of course depart with a kiss.
Birmingham, Alabama is the next stop- Colton meets up with Hannah G. Hannah takes Colton to an etiquette class so he can learn how to be a gentleman before he meets her family, but in my opinion he is already a gentleman. But there is a difference between being polite and having southern charm I suppose. Honestly, Colton's reactions to the class were probably the best part of the date because "who has time to tear off a nibble of bread and butter it?" They then arrive at Hannah's parents' house and she has a lot of people in her family, too! Also, Colton is absolutely killing the speech game before dinner. Hannah's mom is a bit concerned because she doesn't really want Colton taking Hannah away from her if she were to make it to the end. Hannah's family (the ladies in particular) can tell how happy Hannah is with Colton but Hannah's dad is still questioning Colton's intentions. After speaking to him for a bit, Colton asks for Hannah's father's blessing to marry Hannah if it comes to that and of course he says yes. Hannah's mom thinks Colton is very nice, but she is concerned that Hannah will get her heart broken. In the end Hannah's family seems very supportive and just wants the best for Hannah.
Tayshia's date is next in Santa Ana, California. Things are starting with a bang when Tayshia begins the date by blindfolding Colton and leading him into a car. It turns out that Tayshia is taking Colton SKYDIVING?!?!! Um no thanks, I'll watch from the ground. I have anxiety just watching Colton have anxiety. I think I almost threw up when the airplane door opened and I'm watching it happen in the comfort of my own house. Anyways, Colton and Tayshia both make it back down safely and continue on with their date. Colton meets Tayshia's parents and two younger brothers, a much smaller crowd than the previous two dates. Tayshia's dad is surprisingly okay with Colton pursuing Tayshia but is hesitant to give his blessing for Colton to purpose if it were to come to that. Colton is disappointed that he didn't get Tayshia's father's blessing but I can't blame her father because he did just meet Colton for the first time. After Tayshia speaks with her father and explains how she feels, he gives Colton his blessing.
And last (but not least) is Cassie in Huntington Beach, California. Cassie is my favorite, so I'm excited to see how her date plays out. Cassie takes Colton surfing and tries teaching him how to master the waves and even though he isn't the best at it, I give him a lot fo credit for trying; it definitely looks like a fun date to be on. It is SO obvious that Colton is in love with Cassie so I'm hoping she gets a rose, fingers crossed. Cassie's father is immediately hesitant and says Colton just seems like "a guy" and if that isn't the most honest thing I've heard someone say during a hometown date then I don't know what it. But little does he know that Colton is a super amazing guy:) Cassie's sister is the first to steal her and Cassie admits that she doesn't know if she's ready to say yes for a proposal but definitely thinks she will get there eventually, so I hope she doesn't let that discourage her! Colton tells Cassie's mom that he's falling in love with her and does have strong feelings for her. Cassie's dad, on the other hand, is a bit hesitant. He doesn't think a few random dates is enough to fall in love with someone but Cassie reassures him that she wouldn't be doing this if she wasn't sure about her relationship. Cassie's dad then talks to Colton and it seems as if he is getting on board a bit more, but he only gives Colton a premature blessing to ask for her hand in marriage. Cassie's family was definitely the toughest, but I think Colton handled all of the hard questions well.
After a whirlwind week, Colton and the remaining four ladies head to LA for the rose ceremony. Caelynn did not receive a rose this week, resulting in her going home. Next week Colton takes the remaining three ladies to his hometown.
EPISODE SEVEN: FEBRUARY 18
This week the girls are in Denver, Colton's hometown! Colton goes to meet with our FAVORITE bachelor, Ben Higgins, to discuss his concerns about ladies not being ready for an engagement.
Tayshia receives Colton's first one-on-one where they take his dog for a walk and make some stops for sweet treats. Sounds like the PAWfect date to me! Tayshia drops yet another bomb on Colton by saying that Cassie and Caelynn are not ready for an engagement, are not there for the right reasons, and were talking about being the next bachelorette. Ummm Cassie has done nothingggg wrong! So now Colton's biggest fear is coming true. Later in the day Tayshia and Colton cook dinner together and enjoy a glass of wine while Colton asks about her family and past relationships. Tayshia reveals that her father is very protective and closed off, which may make hometowns difficult. After their conversation, Colton gives Tayshia the date rose.
Caelynn receives the second one-on-one and the other girls are a bit disappointed that they weren't the chosen one. Colton takes her snowboarding in the mountains and as much as Colton likes her, he is concerned about what Tayshia said. When he brings it up, Caelynn gets emotional because she denies everything that Tayshia said. During dinner there is definitely a little tension in the room and Colton seems very confused. Caelynn tries to reassure Colton that she is in fact there for the right reasons and reveals that she is falling in love with him; Caelynn therefore gets the date rose. THEN Colton takes her an amphitheater where Brett Young is performing!! If you haven't read my "Bringing Country to Chicago" article, you definitely should because then you'll know how much I loooove Brett Young.
Back at the hotel, Caelynn confronts Tayshia about what she said about her and Cassie not being there for the right reasons. Tayshia thinks Caelynn is lying to Colton but Caelynn says that Tayshia is lying soooo?
Hannah B. is the lucky winner of the third one-on-one. Colton takes her to his parents' house buttt next week is hometowns? Colton's dad reassures him that he should trust his gut and not trust what the other girls are saying about people not being ready. He also tells his dad that he is not falling in love with Hannah B. like she is with him, leaving Colton with even more questions. The two then go to dinner where Colton questions Hannah B.'s intentionality and whether or not she's ready for an engagement. In the end Colton does not feel the same way Hannah B. does, resulting in her being sent home.
Hannah G., Kirpa, Cassie, and Heather are chosen for the group date. They board a train that takes them through the mountains and it is gorgeousss! There are only two roses left, so that means half of the girls are going home. Heather pulls Colton aside to tell him that she does not want to take him to meet her family since she is not 100% sure if it is the right decision, so Heather ultimately leaves on her own :( Heather, we love you! <3 Cassie and Kirpa begin talking about Tayshia's tattling and it is clear that Kirpa is backing Tayshia up, leaving Cassie confused and annoyed. Colton then pulls Cassie aside to get her take on the story and (in my opinion) it is obvious that Cassie didn't do anything wrong. Kirpa then proceeds to tell Colton that Cassie and Caelynn aren't ready and I'm still not sure where she's getting that from but whatever. There is still a lotttt of tension during dinner and to be honest it's uncomfortable to watch. Poor Hannah G. is probably going insane listening to Kirpa and Cassie argue! Thank goodness Colton gave Hannah G. a rose and let her go back to the hotel! During the date Caelynn shows up to defend Cassie and remind Colton that Tayshia and Kirpa are lying. And Cassie gets the second rose!! YAY!! We love Cassie here in Chicago:)
Just to recap, Kirpa and Hannah B. were sent home and Heather left on her own. Hometowns are NEXT WEEK! Whatttttt??!? This season has flown by! Until next week...

episode six: february 11
The TO BE CONTINUED is now being continued! Colton is still confused as to who will receive his last seven roses. We pick up with the rose ceremony where Nicole and Onyeka, the two trouble makers from last week, were sent home! Looks like a drama-free house to me! One thing that Colton does, and I greatly respect, is he gets to the root of the problem and eliminates those causing it.
The ladies are going to Vietnam this week where Demi claims she is going to take Colton's virginity.
Hannah G. receives the first one-on-one of the night, which came by surprise to both her and I. They begin by going to get a massage and it is SO obvious that Colton likes her. And once again they made out the entireeeee date. So I'm not really sure what went on during the day because ABC neglected to show anything else. During dinner, Hannah G. opens up about the fact that her parents are divorced which really took a toll on her. Colton's parents are also divorced so he can relate, leading to Hannah G. receiving the date rose. They then kiss some more...
The group date goes to Cassie, Heather, Katie, Tayshia, Caelynn, Hannah B., Sydney, and Demi where they learn an ancient martial art form called Vovinam. The girls learn to spar against one another which they all love because they can finally compete against one another in "public." Demi is sick of going on group dates so her natural response is to go hard-core during her match with Katie and boy does Colton notice. Colton is concerned about the aggressiveness that Demi is showing so this may be a turning point in their relationship. During the cocktail party, many of the ladies are anxious because things are "getting real now" and true relationships are beginning to solidify. Sydney is concerned because she doesn't feel as if Colton is developing a liking for her and is jealous of the relationships that are moving faster. After going back to talk to the rest of the girls, Sydney grabs Colton AGAIN because she wants to know if there is a future because if not, she's leaving. In a nutshell, Sydney tells Colton that the girls he is taking on dates are not ready for marriage and she essentially says that everything he has done is wrong. And without Colton's response, Sydney decides to leave because Colton wasn't "challenging her enough." After that drama, Colton gives the group date rose to Tayshia.
Kirpa goes on the second one-on-one and just a side note- her romper is adorable. They go snorkeling and spend the day on a boat where the scenery is soooo pretty. They don't show much of the date so it looks like dinner is next! Kirpa talks about how she was previously engaged and how hard it was to overcome the breakup but reassures Colton that she would say yes to an engagement if their relationship continues to progress. Their date was pretty short sooo that's all I got.
Later that night, Demi goes to Colton's room hoping to "make a big move." She tells Colton that she is falling in love with him and is definitely hinting at the fact that she wants to take the next step with him. After hearing those words, Colton says that he doesn't know if he can see himself with Demi at the end of this and walks Demi out. Things are getting real now!!!
Due to the amount of girls who have already left, there is no cocktail party. Katie was sent home, leaving eight girls left. Katie was the third person to tell Colton that there are girls left who are not ready to be engaged or pursue a serious relationship, leaving Colton more confused than ever.
Stay tuned for more drama next week!

episode five: february 4
This week on The Bachelor, the ladies and Colton are in Thailand! As they continue to travel the tropical Asian countries, more drama begins to stir in the "house."
The first one-on-one goes to Heather, the girl who has never been kissed. And boy are we hoping that Colton kisses her on this date! So far Heather is one of our top picks because of her positive and energetic attitude so we will see how the date plays out. They begin by going on a Thai boat and the scenery is gorgeousssss (all heart eyes for Thailand). Meanwhile, Elyse gets emotional because she doesn't know if Colton is on the same page as her regarding their relationship, which may cause problems later in the episode. Now back to Heather! After sailing the sea, they explore the city where they see monkeys and try different Thai foods. During dinner, Colton brings up the topic of past relationships which allows Heather to open up about why she hasn't kissed anyone. Of course Colton understands but he is a bit worried that Heather will not want to progress their relationship at all. Heather assures him that she does want to more forward and receives the date rose. They then walk on the beach where there is a nice fire and calming waves....sounds pretty romantic to me. And it was for them too because THEY KISS!!!!!! So there were fireworks both literally and figuratively. Heather, if you ever read this, I want to be your friend and thrive off of your energy and sweetness.
Elyse is still uneasy about the fact that Colton hasn't given her much attention so she decides to take a little stroll to Colton's hotel room to clear the air. She said that she deserves the time that a relationship needs to grow, causing Colton to question his gut once again. Elyse then proceeds to tell him that she can't accept a proposal after seeing him date other women for months but that's the name of the game. Without giving Colton a chance to reply, she makes the decision to leave- Colton is now upset and I'm upset because I don't like seeing Colton upset :(
Side note: I love the fact that Colton vlogs during these episodes!
Anyways, the next date card calls Demi, Caelynn, Katie, Hannah B., Sydney, Tayshia, Kirpa, Onyeka, Nicole, and Hannah G. for a group date which means Cassie FINALLY gets a one-on-one!!!! Colton takes the girls to a jungle where they learn how to thrive and survive in the wild. I don't like bugs, nonetheless eating them, so props to these ladies who are willing to be adventurous! Even Colton is in awe of what these ladies are doing because he's not even doing those things! They are then split into three teams where they have one hour to bring back food and water to Joe (the leader). Demi decides that her team, aka both Hannahs and herself, will think smarter not harder so they decide to take the bus to the nearest general store and bring back burgers and booze. Is that cheating? I think so but it was creative. During the cocktail party, Tayshia receives reassurance that she is still on Colton's radar in addition to Hannah B. who revealed that she is falling in love with Colton. Onyeka then pulls Colton aside because Elyse told her that Nicole said that she's on the show so she can find opportunities to leave Miami. Sounds like a lot of he said she said to me. Poor Colton is then questioning everything once again and grabs Nicole to talk it over. Of course Nicole denies that she said that but Tayshia also confirms that she never said that since she was part of the conversation as well. I guess it's a good thing Elyse is gone so she isn't there to get caught up in the drama. Hannah B. then receives the group date rose.
And now for the moment we've (well, I've) been waiting for...Cassie's one-on-one!! I LOVE Cassie and I am so happy that she finally got this opportunity! Colton takes her out on a boat and they spend the day at sea. But little does Cassie know that the boat is taking them to their own private island for the day. Colton says that he is insanely attractive to Cassie which is very obvious by the way they interact but if I had my way the two of them would leave the show together right now. They then go to Colton's suite for dinner and Cassie opens up about the fact that she is not a virgin and struggles with that. AND THEN Colton tells Cassie he's crazy about her and that his heart is telling him to go all in. At this point I'm crying because I just really love Cassie and Colton together. Game over, Cassie wins.
During the cocktail party, Tayshia takes Colton to the beach to light a lantern and make a wish and if that isn't a Tangled moment then I don't know what is. Who knows, Colton could be Tayshia's Flynn Rider. Nicole goes to talk to Colton again about the rumors that are being spread about her and proceeds to tell him that Onyeka has been bullying her. With that being said, Colton grabs Onyeka to discuss her actions and Onyeka begins to rip Nicole apart. When Onyeka returns from her conversation with Colton she grabs Nicole so they can essentially have a cat fight and claw at each other. Unfortunately, Colton can hear them while talking to other girls and proceeds to go sit in on their conversation. That doesn't last very long as Colton gets up and Onyeka follows him! Then Nicole tries going after him! Everyone just leave Colton alone!!!
TO BE CONTINUED.....

EPISODE FOUR: JANUARY 28
The ladies are in Singapore this week! I think this is the earliest the crew has ever traveled out of the country, so we'll see how it turns out.
The first date card goes to Tayshia, who evidentially receives the one-on-one of the week. Colton's idea of a romantic date in Singapore may not be what Tayshia had in mind...bungee jumping sounds romantic, right? After all, Colton will FALL in love with someone. Haha get it...you fall when bungee jumping. After facing their biggest fear together, Colton and Tayshia go to a (true) romantic dinner where Tayshia opens up about her past; it turns out she was married to her first boyfriend and recently divorced. Colton is very understanding since he has divorced parents and proceeds to give Tayshia the date rose. The two then go ride the ferris wheel that overlooks the city and admire the view over champaign. Or did they miss the view because they were kissing the whole time? Either way, it looked as if the two had a great date.
The first group date of the episode includes Hannah G., Elyse, Kirpa, Sydney, Heather, Onyeka, Tracy, Nicole, Demi, Courtney, Katie, Cassie, and Hannah B, who is of course salty because- by process of elimination- Caelynn receives the second one-on-one. Demi immediately takes control and hops on Colton's back as if she's the only one on the date, making the other girls frustrated. These girls are in for a treat when they find out they'll be participating in leech therapy, but everyone does their best to impress Colton...especially Hannah B. She feels as if Colton is paying attention to everyone but her (surprise) so in order to gain his praise, Hannah B. eats a fish eye *cue the gagging.* But in the end, Colton reassures Hannah B. that he does notice her and does in fact like her. Demi also opens up to Colton during the cocktail party by revealing her mom was just released from federal prison, which has been a very personal topic for Demi this season. Courtney was upset because she didn't get any time with Colton during the cocktail party so Demi encourages her to go steal him. After Courtney decides to stay back and not talk to Colton, Demi proceeds to steal him AGAIN! So of course Courtney gets upset and basically tells Demi to grow up so Demi flipped her off. AND THEN DEMI GOT THE GROUP DATE ROSE! Was that manipulative of her? I don't know but I am not a fan of her getting the rose. Thank you, next.
And now the moment we've all been waiting for... Caelynn's one-on-one. The previews make it seem as if this date will make or break their relationship so here it goes! Colton takes Caelynn to a high-end boutique where she tries on dresses. After shopping, Caelynn takes her bags back to the hotel where she shows off what Colton bought for her which of course makes Hannah B. happy. Colton then takes Caelynn to dinner where she begins to open up about struggles in her past; she was sexually assaulted in college after her wine was drugged at a party. Colton then opens up more about being a virgin and the series of events that led him to make that decision. After an intense dinner conversation, they end the night by looking out over the city.
During the cocktail party, Hannah G. had a good conversation that led to a loooong kiss in Colton's bed. But the BEST part of the episode was when Hannah G. and Colton re-made the bed after making out in it- they had to erase the evidence somehow. In the other room, Hannah B. approaches Caelynn and they have a conversation about their relationship and how they need to learn to deal with one another so we'll see how long that lasts. Demi confronts Colton about her encounter with Courtney and how she is attacking her, which makes Colton question his gut feelings. AAAAND then Demi makes out with Colton. Ironically, Courtney steals Colton in the middle of Demi's time with him to explain her side of the story, which results in Colton questioning Demi's intentions. Because Demi already has a rose, it looks like she'll be staying another week anyways.
Courtney and Tracy go home as a result of the rose ceremony. Wow, Demi's two rivals. Next week, the girls head to Thailand where there's more drama in store.

EPISODE THREE: JANUARY 21
Week three of The Bachelor is in the books! Can you believe we've been watching Colton's journey to find love for three weeks already?! We could watch this season all year, so bring on the fun!
The first group date was with Katie, Heather, Hannah B., Courtney, Kirpa, Tracy, Demi, and Caelynn. Just like any normal date, they learned how to be pirates! Ahoy matey! But we all know that there is tension between Hannah B. and Caelynn since they both competed in the Miss USA competition so they (of course) were put in the same group date. Since Caelynn and Tracy were the best two pirates, they could then compete for Colton's heart and Hannah B. was not a fan of Caelynn even having that opportunity. But in the end Caelynn did save Captain Colton so she can't walk the plank like I'm sure Hannah B. wishes she could. They then went to the cocktail party where everyone wanted to steal the crown and earn time with Colton. This is the first time Katie has been seen for more than a second and Colton seems to have a strong attraction towards her, so we'll see where that goes. Demi continued to steal the show and be herself, what's new. Colton kisses Caelynn but Hannah B is still convinced that Caelynn is fake, so Hannah B takes things into her own hands and tells Colton to watch out for Caelynn. Colton then becomes frustrated and pulls Caelynn aside so get her opinion on the story AND gives her the group date rose!!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!!!! So now Hannah B is upset anddddd that concludes the first group date.
Elyse was next on the date card, receiving the second one-on-one. Her and Colton took a romantic helicopter rise to San Diego where they played with kids who are a part of Colton's Legacy Foundation- SO cute! They enjoyed carnival games and rides and shared a kiss at the top of a roller coaster. Overall, Elyse is one of our favorites considering she seems genuine. During dinner, Elyse reveals to Colton that her sister passed away after delivering her baby which marks the first time Elyse has opened up to Colton; she then received a rose. THEN Colton surprised her with a concert where Tenille Arts was performing! We're suckers for country music so this was a good choice on Colton's (or ABC's) part.
The second group date was with Cassie, Nicole, Onyeka, Tayshia, Sydney, Nina, Caitlin, and Catherine. They went to a gym where Terry and Rebecca Crews were awaiting their arrival. After doing some warm-ups the girls competed in the "Bachelor's Strongest Woman" competition which consisted of a series of workout activities like tire flipping, limp pulling, and cake pushing. Three girls made it to the final event (Onyeka, Sydney, and Catherine) where they raced in order to clinch that group date rose. Onyeka was the winner so she was not only named the Bachelor's Strongest Woman but secured a spot for next week's episode. During the cocktail party, Caitlin was sent home when Colton didn't feel a spark with her during their conversation :( Poor Hannah G. was the only one who didn't go on a date this week, but we are confident that she will stick around.
There was no cocktail party in this episode, but rather a pool party to lighten the mood. But the mood turns sour when Caelynn began complaining to Colton about Hannah B. By the way, does anyone else think Caelynn looks like a younger Miley Cyrus?? Anyways, Hannah B. then tries defending herself by saying Caelynn is lying so this situation will either result in Hannah B. going home or both girls staying. And the drama continues as Hannah B. received the final rose of the night.
Bri, Catherine, and Nina went home tonight. Next week the ladies are headed to Singapore where Onyeka and Demi are now out for blood.

episode two: January 14
The first group date is finally here!! We love a good laugh while watching the girls compete to win Colton's heart! This episode was full of firsts, from the first group date to the first one-on-one date. And speaking of firsts, that's what the group date was all about!
The episode kicked off with a group date where Demi, Bri, Tracy, Elyse, Hannah G., Nicole, Onyeka, and Catherine traveled to the Regent Theater in LA and participated in an activity where they had to write a story about one of their "firsts" whatever it may be. Parks and Rec co-stars Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally led the date by encouraging the girls to channel their inner storyteller. Colton was the first one to go and talked about the first time he didn't lie about his virginity and told his football team the truth about how many girls he had actually slept with- zero. Demi, our favorite (not really), went out with a bang by saying she would be the one to receive the first group date rose. Other girls spoke about family, past boyfriends, friends, and so on. After the date was over, the girls attended a cocktail party where they all tried stealing Colton so they could have a shot at getting the group date rose. But Demi struck again when she proceeded to pick up the rose and start twirling it....it is an unwritten rule in the Bachelor world that you do not touch the group date rose unless it is yours! This made the rest of the girls go into a frenzy, especially Tracy who decided to have a talk with Demi about her behavior. But as usual, Demi didn't care and continued to act like villain she is bound to become. Elyse ended up receiving the rose, which surprised both of us. Elyse hasn't had much camera time but seemed sweet when she opened up to Colton during the cocktail party.
And now for the moment we've all been waiting for...the first one-on-one! Miss Alabama Hannah B. was the lucky winner of that game and went horseback riding with Colton in the desert followed up by a...romantic? dip in the very tiny hot tub. AND it was her birthday! What an awesome way to spend your big day! This was by far one of the most uncomfortable dates to watch because Hannah was pretty quiet and it was obvious that Colton didn't know what to say either. Colton then began questioning his relationship with Hannah because of how afraid she was to open up but in the end she did end up receiving the rose. The two enjoyed dinner on the Queen Mary and watched fireworks as the night came to an end.
The second group date consisted of the girls going to "Camp Bachelor" where Billy Eichner acted as the camp counselor (with Chris Harrison, of course). The girls were split into two teams: Caelynn, Katie, Alex, Cassie, Heather, and Tayshia were on team red while Sydney, Nina, Courtney, Erika, Caitlin, and Kirpa were on team yellow. They competed against each other in various camp activities such as badminton, tug-o-war, canoeing, and the three-legged race. The team that won the most activities was gifted with an overnight cabin stay while the losing team had to go back to the Bachelor Mansion. The red team pulled through and won, which was in our favor because all of the "good girls" were on that team. As they began their cozy campfire "cocktail party" later in the evening, 22 year-old Heather revealed to Colton that she is also a virgin and has never kissed anyone. To her surprise, he was super understanding but why wouldn't he be? He's essentially in the same situation minus the whole kissing aspect. This then led Heather to get the group date rose, which was much deserved in our opinion.
Annie, Alex B., Erika, and Angelique were the four ladies to go home this episode. It looks as if the drama will continue next week when Colton and the ladies continue to win each other over!

episode one: january 7
Nothing beats a three hour live premier of our favorite reality tv show...The Bachelor! If you don't already know, Colton is a virgin and that is wayyyyy overplayed both in the episode and in the advertisements, so let the eye-rolling begin.
The episode started off by visiting previous Bachelor/ette contestants who were hosting viewing parties around the country. As much as we love checking in on Jade & Tanner, Becca & Garrett, Kaitlyn, Jojo, Ben, and so on, we just wanted to see the girls come out of the limo! After an hour of watching other people's viewing parties, the first limo finally came rolling up on the Bachelor Mansion driveway! The first girl out was Demi who made a lasting impression by saying she hasn't dated a virgin since she was 12....thanks for bringing up the elephant in the room, Demi. In the previews it looks as if Demi becomes the villain so it'll be interesting to see how that plays out! As twenty-something other women stepped out of the limo and tried making a lasting impression, the girl who stood out the most (in our opinion) was Cassie, the 23 year-old speech pathologist from California. She taught Colton a few words in sign language while not wearing an over the top dress and a ton on makeup!!!! Looks like a winner in our eyes!
As the night went on, girls began to steal Colton in order to get to know him better so they would receive a rose. But apparently stealing him four times isn't enough? We knew Catherine was trouble when she strutted out of the limo in a red mini dress holding a dog, basically trying to lure Colton in by holding his favorite animal. During the cocktail party, Catherine stole Colton not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR TIMES because she felt as if they didn't have enough time together. Some of the girls didn't even talk to Colton once, so it's ok Catherine. Overall, most of the girls seem halfway decent so far. Hannah G got the first impression rose after bringing Colton's favorite underwear in a box; the box was empty because apparently Colton doesn't wear underwear (fun fact).
During the rose ceremony, the girls who went home were Alex D aka sloth girl, Laura, Revian, Erin the Cinderella girl, Devin, Tahzjuan, and Jane. Next week the group dates will start so bring on the drama!
